The Pierre Simon Laplace Institute, the National Centre for Meteorological Research, and IDDRI organize the international symposium « Climate Services: toward the provision of tailored climate information to the industry »
This event will be held on Tuesday 10th of January 2012, from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm at the Maison de l’Amérique Latine.
This symposium aims to initiate a discussion on the provision of tailored climate information to the industry: what types of information on future climate do the privates companies need? How to respond to these needs? How to organize this response? Which problems can we anticipated?
Different countries will share their experiences in terms of provision of dedicated climate services. Private companies will also present their strategic vision for adaptation to climate change and their needs for climate information.
