The purpose of this workshop is to raise awareness of IpBES amongst the wider participants at WCC, and to generate feedback on the proposal from multiple stakeholders – especially civil society and those not reached by the review process to date. The workshop will focus particularly, but not exclusively, on the participation and feedback from civil society and private sector (the “multi-stakeholder” element of IpBES).
Laurence Tubiana will present the IpBES, including background and context.
