An exceptionnal public panel discussion on scientific uncertainty in decision-making, organised by The British Council and IDDRI, in collaboration with the AXA Research Fund.

Presentation :

"Recent debate on the role of human activity in climate change, on the efficacy of the H1N1 vaccine or on renewable energies policy, has brought the concept of scientific uncertainty to the forefront of public and media attention. Professor Sir Michael Rawlins, Denis Duverne, and Jean-Yves Nau will address these questions and will then open up the discussion to the public."

Panel members :

- Professor Sir Michael Rawlins (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence – United Kingdom)
- Denis Duverne (AXA – France)
