This side event will discuss the conclusions of the programme "Scenarios for transition towards a low-carbon world in 2050: What's a stake for heavy industries", concerning both general climate policy as well as the economic response of industrial sectors - specifically of the energy, steel, aluminium, cement, and sheet glass sectors.
