'First, do no harm!' Avoiding maladaptation to climate change

Un séminaire organisé conjointement par l'Iddri, le Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) et le Center for Sustainable Development (CSD), et consacré aux enjeux – notamment d'interprétation – liés au concept d'adaptation au changement climatique.

"This conference brings together experts from both developed and developing countries in order to identify typologies of maladaptation and tools to avoid maladaptation in a policy, project and research context. Discussions will seek to identify guidance to ensure that adaptation policies, strategies and projects are designed and implemented in a way that would genuinely reduce people's vulnerability. In that regard, the conference would achieve a major and much needed step towards a common, workable and practical approach to adaptation."
