Alice Colsaet is conducting a research project as part of a thesis in environmental economics. She is working on the identification of socio-economic and political determinants of soil artificialization as well as policy responses to limit the consumption of space and its impacts on biodiversity, particularly in France and Germany.

Alice holds a Franco-German master's degree in political science (IEP de Bordeaux and Stuttgart University) and a master's degree in environmental economics (AgroParisTech). She joined IDDRI in 2016 first for a post-graduate internship on artificialization in Île-de-France, then as part of her thesis.
