MSc in Environment, Sustainable Development and Risks (Sciences Po, 2008), Carole-Anne Sénit worked as a research assistant at the Sciences Po’s Center for Political Research (Cevipof) for the project "Grenelle de l’environnement: actors, narratives, results". She  joined IDDRI in March 2010 to work on the European project "SustainableRIO", funded under the 7th FP. She was in charge of carrying out decision-makers interviews aiming at documenting the reasons of the existing gap between the demand and supply of policies on sustainable development issues.

In April 2013, she started her PhD studies with Prof. Biermann and Dr. Kalfagianni from the Institute for Environmental Studies of the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and under the supervision of Prof. Tubiana and Dr. Voituriez at IDDRI. Her doctoral research aims at defining the purpose and impact of civil society consultation processes in the framework of the negotiations on a post-2015 development agenda.
