Marie-Hélène Schwoob graduated from the Institute in Environmental and Agricultural Science and Engineering of AgroParisTech (Paris Institute of Technology), and from the Paris Institute of Political Sciences (Sciences-Po Paris, MA Political Science in Asia).

After having analyzed the protagonists of the environmental sector in China and directed the Energy and Environment Program at Asia Centre (international relations think tank), she joined the Iddri in 2011 to conduct research for the Food and Agriculture Program. She is also a candidate for a PhD in political sciences at Sciences-Po (food security and international relationships) and a regular redactor for China Analysis.
