Selcan Serdaroglu

Graduate in political and administrative sciences (Istanbul, Marmara University), MA in Comparative European Politics (Nice, Sophia Antipolis University), Phd in Economics (Strasbourg, Louis Pasteur University), Selcan worked as a research fellow at the Foundation for Economic Development (Istanbul) and as a research assistant at the Galatasaray University (Istanbul) where she has been an assistant professor in international relations since 2001. Her research areas are international political economy, international governance of the environment and international cooperation. She joined IDDRI from May 2009 to March 2010 for a one-year term project on the place of Brazil in negotiations of the Protocol of Cartagena on Biosafety.
