Joshua Glasser is a Master’s student at the Harvard School of Public Health. Prior to graduate school, he worked as a grassroots organizer and public interest lobbyist for a non-profit organisation, Common Cause, in his home state of North Carolina. He was also awarded a Fulbright Scholarship (2007-2008) for studies in Vietnamese language and culture in Hanoi, Vietnam. During his Fulbright year, he conducted a qualitative research study with migrant workers living with HIV/AIDS and their families. He completed undergraduate studies in political science and public policy analysis at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2006. After graduate school, Joshua plans to work on research related to climate change adaptation policy. He is particularly interested in linkages between global climate policy and finance frameworks, and local, community-based adaptation efforts. Joshua Glasser is co-editor of the State of Environmental Migration 2010 (co-published by IDDRI and OIM). | |
