Patrick Le Galès

Patrick Le Galès is a politic and sociology scholar. He is a CNRS research professor at the Centre d’études européennes of Sciences Po, and professor at Sciences Po. He is currently a visiting professor at King’s College in London (United Kingdom). His research fields include: Public policy, and sociology of the state in Europe; European cities and great global metropolis; Economic sociology/political economy; and Great Britain (State and society). Patrick Le Galès is co-director of various collections of university books. He was director of the International Journal of Urban and Regional Research between 1998 and 2005, and sits at the editorial board of several scientific publications such as British Journal of Political Science, Journal of Public Policy and European Urban and Regional Studies.
