Peter Beyer
Peter Beyer is a Research Fellow at Ecologic. His work focuses on European and international environmental law. He is currently working on a European environmental liability regime as well as on the further implementation of the Council Directive concerning integrated pollution prevention and control, with special emphasis on elaborating the so-called BREFs, and the management of shared groundwater resources. Furthermore, he acts as a legal advisor to the German Federal Ministry for the Environment with regard to the negotiations on an international agreement on the implementation of a Pollutant Release and Transfer Register under the Aarhus Convention as well as with regard to the implementation of an emissions trading regime.
