Norichika Kanie is associate professor at the Graduate School of Decision Science and Technology, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, and visiting associate professor of the United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies. Among others he serves as a scientific steering committee member of the Earth Systems Governance programme of IHDP, and editorial board member of the journal Global Environmental Governance. He received his Ph.D. in Media and Governance from the Keio University.
In September 2009, Norichika Kanie joined IDDRI as an invited research fellow within the framework of a Marie Curie Fellowship (European Union) hosted by Sciences Po.
