Adrian Hewitt
Overseas Development Institute

Adrian Hewitt is Senior Research Fellow at the Overseas Development Institute and is Director of the ODI Fellowship Scheme. He also founded, and still runs, the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Overseas Development in the Westminster Parliament. Educated at Oxford (Worcester College) and London (SOAS) Universities, he worked for the governments of Madagascar and Malawi (and, as a teacher, of France too at Lycée Janson de Sailly and Lycée Marceli-Berthelot) before joining ODI. During October he is fulfilling contracts for Swedish SIDA, DFID and UNIDO, on Poverty Reduction Strategies, Agricultural policy and Global Public Goods, but his current work in ODI is particularly involved in trade policy capacity-building.
