Alice Palmer

Alice Palmer is the Director of the Foundation for International Environmental Law and Development (FIELD), a UK-based non-governmental organisation committed to the promotion of environmental protection and sustainable development through international law. Alice’s work focuses on how to achieve sustainable development objectives in the international rules and institutions designed to manage the dynamics of globalisation. She also teaches classes on the international laws relevant to the environment and development as part of the Master of Laws programme at University College London. Alice previously specialised in environmental aspects of corporate transactions as a lawyer practising in the USA and Australia. Alice holds a Master of Laws in public international law from New York University, and obtained her Bachelor degrees in Arts and in Laws with honours from the University of Melbourne.
