Dr. Koko Warner leads Climate Adaptation and Social Vulnerability Section at the United Nations University Institute for Environment and Human Security (UNU-EHS). She researches adaptation and climate risk insurance, and financial mechanisms to assist the poor. Warner is an executive board member of the Munich Climate Insurance Initiative (MCII). She is pursuing a Habilitation at the ETH Zürich, Department for Environmental Science and Economics, and an assistant professor at the University of Richmond´s Emergency Service Management graduate program.
