Patrick ten Brink is a Senior Fellow and Head of the Institute for European Environmental Policy’s Brussels office. The Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP), based on London and in Brussels, is an independent and influential centre for the analysis and development of policies affecting the environment in Europe and beyond. IEEP aims to bring an independent analytical perspective to policy questions, engaging in both pressing short-term policy issues and long-term strategic studies. Patrick is the leading environmental economist in IEEP and his current research interest include, for example, the development of instruments for supporting policy and decision-making and evaluation. Before joining IEEP, Patrick was an Associate Director in the environment group of ECOTEC Research and Consulting Ltd, and was responsible for environmental economics and policy, and EU-accession related advice.
