Virginie Marchal
Virginie is graduate from HEC, Paris and currently a student at the Master of Public Affairs at Sciences Po.
She had previously worked for six years in the oil industry,  for Total in Argentina and in France in the oil and gaz business, and for BP in London in the biofuels sector. As a strategy adviser for Africa and Asia, she had to provide recommendations for investments in sustainable ethanol projects in Asia and Africa.
In collaboration with IDDRI, she focused on the US climate change policy, and is currenlty conducting a research on transatlantic environment and energy politics.
