Description of the session

While the targets and plans set in countries' Nationally-Determined Contributions (NDCs) reveal current levels of ambition, they do not paint a complete picture of the global trends and developments which are both leading to and helping mitigate the transport sector’s impact on the climate.

This event proposed to adopt a different and complementary perspective on climate ambition around systemic transformations and their enablers in taking stock of progress inside countries and sectors.
