Climate COP30 took place in Belém, Brazil, from 10 to 21 November 2025.
The issues at stake were at the crossroads of major political crises and a pivotal moment for global climate action, as the Paris Agreement celebrates its tenth anniversary. The Brazilian presidency aimed to restore confidence in effective multilateralism and accelerate the impact on global emissions, while strengthening adaptation capacities in the face of the growing effects of climate change.
What concrete results did this COP achieve?
On Wednesday 26 November, Marta Torres Gunfaus, Climate Programme Director, Sébastien Treyer, Executive Director, and Céline Kauffmann, Chief Programmes Officer, took stock of this 30th Conference of the Parties.
