Antoine Oger is interim Executive Director and Research Director of the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP), a Brussels-based think tank working with stakeholders across EU & international institutions, academia, civil society and industry to produce evidence-based research on EU sustainability policies.
His work focuses on the coherence of the EU internal and external policies related to trade, climate and circular economy. He previously worked for over 12 years on the provision of technical assistance to countries in the global south, working extensively with relevant EU and international actors on the delivery of the EU cooperation policy. His recent publications include IEEP policy reports on the “long-term linkages between climate objectives and international trade and investment” or a briefing on “Trade for an inclusive circular economy: A framework for collective action” developed with Chatham House.
Antoine is also Adjunct Professor at Sciences Po Paris teaching on the “EU Sustainability Policies in an International Perspective”, as well as at Paris La Sorbonne-Nouvelle on “climate-related development projects in emerging economies”. Antoine holds a MA in European Politics from the Institute of Political Studies of Rennes in France.
