Léna Spinazzé is Deputy director of the Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI) since September, 2022. Her missions are to support the Institute's development strategy through enhanced dialogue with its financial partners and to develop IDDRI's capacity to respond to the emerging needs of stakeholders in the ecological transition.

Léna Spinazzé was previously Director of Communications at the Institute for 5 years. She developed the Institute's reputation and influence by coordinating IDDRI's intervention strategy for COP21, deploying this approach to all IDDRI's programmes, and developing the Institute's communication capacities with a dedicated team.
Before joining IDDRI, Léna Spinazzé participated, on behalf of the French Ministry of the Environment, in the organisation of the French debate on the energy transition (DNTE), which brought together 150 stakeholders for nearly a year to formulate recommendations to the government for the preparation of the draft law on energy transition.
She previously worked as a consultant for private companies for fifteen years. In particular, she was Managing Director of the consulting firm BeCitizen, where she supported numerous companies and start-ups in the implementation of development and innovation strategies that were positive from a societal point of view.

Léna Spinazzé is a graduate of EM Lyon in management and marketing (1996).
