Presentation
Following a period of rapid growth, the electrification of vehicles is entering a new phase. The challenge is no longer simply to win over early adopters, but to support a larger and more diverse range of households in their decision-making. A qualitative survey conducted by IDDRI in collaboration with the Institut Mobilités en Transition shows that the main barrier is not a rejection of electric vehicles, but the many uncertainties that still surround their use. To achieve widespread adoption, public policy must now pave the way for a safer and clearer path to adoption.
