Organized by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, the Renmin University in Pékin, the Sun Yat-sen University in Canton, the Charles Léopold Mayer Foundation for Human Progress (FPH), the Chinese Diplomatic Institute in Pekin, a second edition of the China-Europa Forum will take place in Europe, from 4 to 7 October 2007, in two blocks :
* 4 and 5 October 2007: Around 40 socio-professional and theme-based workshops bringing together nearly a thousand people will take place in several European cities and regions.
* 6 and 7 October 2007 : these workshops will converge in Brussels, where will be held the plenary session.
IDDRI and the "Association Dossiers et Débats pour le Développement Durable" (4D), organize the workshop "Toward a new development model and a sustainable and harmonious society", taking place in Paris from 4 to 5 October 2007.
The results of the first edition of the Forum, held in China in October 2005, are the subject of a book, L'Europe, c'est pas du chinois ! La construction européenne racontée aux Chinois, edited by Yu Shuo, Huang Yé and Jean-Paul Delattre.
