- Richard Baron in the FEEM workshop “The future of the Kyoto Protocol: alternatives for the second commitment period and beyond?”, 9 December
- Richard Baron in the Globe International (Global Legislators Organization for a Balanced Environment) meeting on 10 December
- Jean-Charles Hourcade (CIRED) in a round table on the theme “Domestic actions in major countries” organized by Resources for the Future and FEEM on 10 December.
- Laurence Tubiana in the FEEM conference on “After COP 9: What are the next steps?”, 11 December.
A review of COP9 was prepared at a seminar organized in the spring by IDDRI.
IDDRI also organized two events on the sidelines of the Ninth Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change.
