Ariadna Anisimov is a research fellow at the Institute of Development Policy of the University of Antwerp.

Before, she was working at IDDRI on adaptation to climate change. Her work focused on exploring trajectories of vulnerability of small islands to climate risks and adaptation options (STORISK project), as well as on analysing the UNFCCC Loss and Damage mechanism.   

Ariadna defended her PhD in disaster risk management (l'Ecole Polytechnique) in June 2019. She holds an LLM and MSc in Comparative Law and Economics (University College of Turin). Previously, she worked at the OECD on the governance of critical risks.
