Carina Sabou helps to set up and monitor European and international projects funded by IDDRI. She works with the various teams involved in project management (research, administration, communication) and more specifically with the "Deep Decarbonization Pathways" programme.
Before joining IDDRI, Carina worked in the Cooperation and Cultural Action Department of the French Embassy in Saint Lucia, promoting French higher education and funding schemes run by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs. She then joined an international development NGO in Canada, where she was in charge of projects and private, Canadian and international financial partnerships.
Carina holds a master's degree in European and International Studies from the Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris and studied international relations for a year in the United States. She is fluent in French, English and Romanian.
