His research interests cover economic modeling, economic forecasting, energy and climate change issues and policy analysis. As team leader, he works on many projects in cooperation with Chinese government agencies and international/domestic organisations, including State Council, NDRC (China), Project-LINK in UN, UNIDO, IDE (Japan), INFORUM, Maryland University (UNited States), CoPS, Monash University (Australia).
He published in Asian Economic Journal, The Journal of Econometric Study of Northeast Asia, Economic Research (JingJiYanJiu), etc.
