The 15th COP of the Convention on Biological Diversity, held in Montreal from December 7 to 19, 2022, concluded with the adoption of a global biodiversity framework for the post-2020 period: the Kunming-Montreal Agreement.

What can we learn from this COP? Will the agreement enable us to halt biodiversity loss and support transformative change? Are the financial resources mobilized up to the challenge? What means will be used to implement and monitor the commitments?

IDDRI members present in Montreal (Sébastien Treyer, Director of IDDRI, Julien Rochette, Ocean Director and International Biodiversity Governance Director, and Juliette Landry, Researcher for International Biodiversity Governance) will provide insights and an assessment of the COP and answer your questions.
