In a context of geopolitical fragmentation and shifting economic priorities, sustaining effective international cooperation to address shared challenges and manage current imbalances is increasingly difficult.

Against this background, the event aims to identify the pragmatic pathways for cooperation that support greater economic security, renewed development partnerships, as well as sustainable development for all.

Across two days of focused panel discussions, participants explored how to reconcile economic security with international cooperation, strengthen inclusive financial governance, advance operational solutions for resilience and risk management, and ensure continuity across major international fora such as the G7 and G20. The event also highlighted key insights from T7 task forces.

It brought together representatives from G7 countries and the G7 presidency, think tanks participating in the T7, and a wider community of experts engaged on these issues.
