An event co-organized by IDDRI, to be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on December 1st (Blue Zone, French Pavillon) 

A side event organized by IRD, the University of Antananarivo (Madagascar), the UNCCD, the FAO, The World Bank, the French Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Development, GESSOL/French Ministry for Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy, AFD, Fonds FFEM, IDDRI, Coordination Sud, the Groupe de Travail sur la Désertification, the Centre d'Actions et de Réalisations Internationales (CARI). 
 
Different stakeholders are joining to present some concrete initiatives illustrating the co-benefits at the crossroads of Rio conventions offered by agroecological practices in Africa. This session intend to illustrate how sustainable land management practices toward healthy soils can be an important component of the Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDC) in Africa. Movies and documents (policy brief, books,…) will complements the exchanges.
