Meeting Purpose:
To get partner feedback on the design of the new global 2050 Pathway Platform, and identify practical next steps for partner collaboration.
Targeted Meeting Outcomes
- Update participants on 2050 pathway planning efforts currently underway, share the proposed work plan of the 2050 Pathway Platform, and discuss how these activities can be coordinated.
- Identify concrete next steps for network partner collaboration, including concepts such as strengthening technical capacity on the ground; organizing multi-stakeholder dialogues at the national and local levels; and leveraging international processes and moments (e.g., UNFCCC, G20, Climate Action Summit, etc.)
- Get detailed feedback from partners on the first draft of the 2050 pathways user guide, including whether it responds to user needs and how it can support partners’ activities.
