A presentation by Mathieu Saujot during the second edition of the Smart Cities and Territories Forum organised by La Gazette des Communes..

In November 2017, a study by La Gazette – Caisse des Dépôts showed that almost six in ten local authorities had undertaken projects to become “smart territories”.

This figure highlights the importance of a trend that is no longer restricted to the largest cities: digital innovations, citizen demands, environmental imperatives, declining resources, etc., all authorities must now find more innovative, “smarter” ways to provide public services. In order to share experiments already underway and to address the complexity of these issues (legal, technical, financial, etc), La Gazette des Communes brings together a panel of more than 20 expert speakers, from France and elsewhere.
