IDDRI participates in the second edition of the 24 Hours of Climate (24 heures du Climat) organized on September 28-29.


Initiated by Anthony Cellier, Member of French Parliament for the 3rd constituency of the Gard, President of the FrenchHigh Energy Council, and the Climate Action Network; and organised jointly with Ademe (French agency of ecological transition), the Companies for the Environment Association (EpE), the Institute for Climate Economics (I4CE), under the patronage of the French President of the National Assembly, with the support of the French High Council for the Climate, the 24 Hours of Climate is a transparent, interactive event, open to all.

Ministers, parliamentarians, companies, NGOs, researchers, citizens, scientists, philosophers, institutions, administrations, and think tanks will be brought together to debate, compare ideas, identify obstacles, seek solutions and propose concrete measures to accelerate the ecological transition of France. 

This second edition will be an opportunity to address six major themes in depth: energy renovation, food, mobility, energy, Europe and the place of citizens and territories in the ecological transition.


September, 28 

  • Andreas Rüdinger (IDDRI) participates in the round table "Energy renovation: incentive or obligation?" from 09:00-09:55. This round table will be moderated by Maxime Ledez from I4CE, with Jean-Charles Colas Roy (MP), Audrey Zermati (Effy) and Célia Gautier (Nicolas Hulot Foundation).
  • Jean-Philippe Hermine (IDDRI) takes part in the round table "Is the electric car the future of mobility?" from 1:00 pm to 1:55 pm with Jean-Marc Zulesi (MP), Aurélien Schuller (Manager of the Mobility Division - Carbone 4), Marie Chéron (Head of Mobility - Nicolas Hulot Foundation)

September, 29 

  • Lola Vallejo (IDDRI) takes part in the round table discussion "What implementation of European climate objectives?" from 09:00 am - 09:55 am, with Yannick Jadot (Member of the European Parliament), Neil Makaroff (Head of Europe - Climate Action Network), Sébastien Soleille (Head of Energy Transition and Environment - BNP Paribas). This session will be moderated by Sébastien Postic (I4CE)
  • Michel Colombier (IDDRI, HCC) gives an introductory keynote from 04:45 pm - 04:55 pm, on theme 6 "Citizens and Territory"
