Laura Brimont will speak at the conference "Mobilités, l'explosion des possibles" organised by Le Monde, in partnership with La Fabrique de la Cité.

French people spend an average of 50 minutes commuting every day. Via train, bus, metro or alone in a car: the range of possibilities has remained limited for years. Digital technology and the emergence of new actors are radically transforming this model. Carpooling, on-demand or self-service systems, autonomous vehicles, data proliferation and inter-modality are the new components of the model under construction. Will it be possible to balance the interests of all users with those of new private actors? What role is there for public authorities, who were once the conductors of these daily ballets? What will be the new financial equations? How can we ensure that this reshuffle works in favour of the energy transition?
