Charlie works for the "Lifestyles in Transition" initiative on the articulation of social and environmental issues in food transition policies.

After a first experience at IDDRI, Charlie joined the European Commission's Directorate General for the Environment. There, he worked in the Land Use and Management Unit on the implementation of the European strategies for soil and forestry by 2030, and on the development of the law on soil health.

After studying political science and a M1 in European Public Affairs at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, Charlie is pursuing a master's degree in Environmental Policy (with a specialization in agriculture) at the School of International Affairs of Sciences Po Paris.
