As part of the Monaco Ocean Week organised from March, 22 to 28, by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, the Oceanographic Institute of Monaco, the Scientific Centre of Monaco and the Monaco Yacht Club, with the support of the Prince's Government: 

  • On March 22, Sébastien Treyer will moderate a discussion session during the 12th edition of the Monaco Blue Initiative in Monaco focusing on the blue economy, with an introductory speech by the Albert II, Prince of Monaco. Sébastien Treyer will lead a panel on the role of international negotiations for better ocean governance, with representatives of the United Nations, the IUCN, and international researchers. 
  • On March 26, Julien Rochette will take part in the session: "Which knowledge for which sustainable ocean governance?" on the theme: "Fragmented governance of the ocean: problem or opportunity?". The partner organisations for this session are: Ocean & Climate Platform, Scientific Centre of Monaco, Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, CNRS, IFREMER, IRD, Government of Monaco.
