Judith-Voss Stemping and David Levaï are speaking at this UNFCCC side event organised by the london Shool of economics and political science (LSE), the Grantham research institute on climate change and the environnement and IDDRI.

This side event presents new studies on the experience with designing, adopting and implementing climate change legislation in the UK, France and across Europe. Two new studies on the impact of the UK’s Climate Change Act and the experience with the France’s Energy Transition Law will be presented by the Grantham Research Institute and IDDRI respectively. This is followed by an interactive panel discussion with senior policy makers discussing national experiences with establishing long-term climate governance frameworks as well as drawing potential lessons learnt for the EU and internationally.
