Mobility has been disrupted by digital technology in cities. Information, optimisation and reliability were then promised to relieve congestion in cities and facilitate travel. However, digital technology has not led to the expected improvements. Hence the need to re-examine the role of digital technology in responding to the challenges of urban mobility.
