About the Research Project:

"The objective of the project is to provide innovative, scientifically robust policy analysis on targeted issues within the debate on the post-2020 climate and energy policy framework. Each individual work-stream focuses on a specific political or technical 'choke-point' within the package discussions, and aims to propose practical solutions. The four work-streams are:

  • Approaches to Effort Sharing and low carbon finance in non-ETS sectors;
  • Reconciling Energy Security and Climate Agendas;
  • The Role and Reform of the EU ETS;
  • The Governance of the Package."
