Implementing the Ocean SDG - Julien Rochette

As a follow up to Decision CP8/10 where the Contracting Parties were urged to cooperate in improving the governance of ABNJ, as well as Decision CP8/1.2 that requested the Secretariat to take note of the Sustainable Development Goals and incorporate the relevant outcomes into the new work programme for 2018-2022, the Secretariat for the Nairobi Convention, in collaboration with UNEP-WCMC, IASS-Potsdam, GIZ and IDDRI are organizing the Area Based Planning tools and Exploring Regional Cooperation in the WIO to Implement the U.N Oceans 2030 Agenda meeting.
