Khalil Elouardighi is an influence professional with 20 years’ experience in non-profit advocacy.

As Director of IDDRI’s Programmes, Khalil led the strategic programming of the institute’s research and policy dialogue activities, helping select topics and opportunities with a view to maximizing both the scientific excellence and policy impact of IDDRI’s work.

Before joining IDDRI, Khalil worked on global AIDS policy at Coalition PLUS and Act Up-Paris, being part of successful efforts to reduce drug prices, set up multilateral funds to make international public investments towards pandemic elimination, and create solidarity taxes on airline tickets and stock market transactions to sustainably replenish those funds. A political science graduate, he holds a Master in European Public Affairs from Strasbourg University. Khalil is bilingual in French and English.
