Nicolas Berghmans is Lead European affairs and energy and climate expert at IDDRI since 2015. His research focuses on climate governance, energy system low carbon transition and carbon pricing policies. Nicolas is also a regular lecturer at the Paris School of International Affairs at Sciences Po Paris. Prior to joining IDDRI, Nicolas worked as a researcher on carbon and energy markets at CDC Climat, a subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations on climate economics.
He holds a Master's degree in international relations with a specialization in Economics from Sciences Po Paris.
