Changes in the global food system are responsible for heavy greenhouse gas emissions, while agriculture is itself a victim of the effects of climate change. The intensification of agricultural yields has undoubtedly reached its peak, particularly in Europe. But the conversion of agricultural and food practices poses multiple economic and social problems, as does the role of agriculture in the service of the global decarbonisation of our societies.
