"The objectives of this GCARD pre-meeting are to consolidate advances in the three key themes of the FTP, and finalize the presentations to be made during the GCARD foresight sessions. It will also set the agenda for the next years for the FTP, and define the issues to be prioritized for improved foresight as well as the appropriate modalities of work of the platform and the hub. New participants identified through a review process launched under the Global Foresight Hub will also join the Foresight Exchange Workshop. It will prepare the organization of collaboration between the FTP and foresight activities within regional fora of GFAR. It will provide a venue for some new initiatives to be discussed and synergized with the activities of the Hub, in particular the Global future project of CRP2, the WAW initiative."
