"The Roundtable seeks to provide a platform for discussion among representatives from governments, international organizations, academia, the private sector and civil society on food and nutrition security through sustainable agriculture and food systems in the post-2015 development agenda. Furthermore, the event shall provide an opportunity to consider the work of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS) and the Rome-based agencies (FAO, IFAD, WFP) on the post-2015 process.
We hope that from the discussions at the Roundtable a message with specific recommendations will emerge, reflecting the views expressed by the participants. This message shall include suggestions for targets and indicators to achieve food and nutrition security through sustainable agriculture and food systems in a post-2015 world."
