The Institute for Sustainable Development and International Relations (IDDRI) and the European Transdisciplinary Assessment of Climate Engineering (EuTRACE) are co-organising a workshop on climate engineering.
The project “European Transdisciplinary Assessment of Climate Engineering” (EuTRACE) is funded by the European Union and is designed to :
- review the state of the science on climate engineering
- identify what a possible European perspective on climate engineering could be.
A series of policy briefings in European capitals (France, Germany, Norway, Poland, UK) are being conducted.
The policy briefing in Paris aims at informing French decision-makers and taking stock of the current debate on this issue. It will also contribute to facilitating discussions at the French and European levels.
