Une conférence organisée par l'Iddri et The German Marshall Fund of the United States (GMF).

Présentation de la conférence [en anglais] :

"The Cancun Agreements represented a breakthrough in the international negotiations on climate change and a major opportunity to promote low-carbon development in developing countries. But recent political events have been deeply discouraging for those concerned by the adverse impacts of climate change. The United States seems to be drifting backward on climate policy when Europe’s green efforts appear stuck on the 2020 emission reduction goals. In this difficult context, there are still major questions to tackle before the next conference in Durban, South Africa, in December 2011."

Intervenants :
- Nigel Purvis (German Marshall Fund of the United States, Climate Advisers)
- Monica Frassoni (European Green Party)
- Matthieu Wermaere (IDDRI, Brussels)
