Une intervention de Sébastien Treyer dans la cadre du SCOPE-Zhongyu International Environmental Forum, organisé par le réseau de scientifiques et d'institutions scientifiques SCOPE.

Présentation du Forum [en anglais] :

"The SCOPE-Zhongyu Forum 'Greening the Economy' will bring together international experts to discuss how global environmental, economic and social conditions have led to increasing calls for ecological modernization and alternative pathways of defining and creating wealth. In a green economy agriculture, industry, tourism, urban and rural development are driven by innovations and investments that reduce carbon emissions and pollution, enhance energy and resource efficiency, and prevent the loss of biodiversity and ecosystem services. These investments need to be catalyzed and supported by targeted public expenditure, governance reforms, regulations and new types of knowledge and learning. This development path should maintain, enhance and rebuild natural capital as a critical economic asset and source of public benefits."
