Une intervention de Teresa Ribera dans le cadre d'une session du EWEA 2014 Annual Event ("The leading pan-European conference and exhibition opening up international business and learning opportunities for the wind industry").

Présentation de la session [en anglais] :

"Why should wind companies care about the climate negotiations? Do they make a difference for business? With ongoing freak weather across the globe, the effects of climate change have never been harder to ignore; and they're already having an impact on companies across the globe. And governments will act, eventually; but will it be good or bad for the wind business?

With 18 months to go until the big UN climate change summit in Paris. Governments always say that 'the private sector' will supply the majority of finance and technology to meet the climate challenge. What can the wind industry do to force governments to take this fact seriously? How do we convince our colleagues that it matters to their business? And what are the consequences for the wind business if the Paris talks fail?"
